21CC Group launches new parent company brand, reflecting 25 years of growth
The 21CC Group has unveiled its new parent company brand to bring together its family of specialist businesses.
As part of this evolution, the Group’s original trading business will now operate as Twentyone Productions, while 21CC Group becomes the overarching group identity, providing a clear group structure above its specialist trading businesses: Rogue City Productions, Twentyone Productions and Funktioncreep, while allowing each to continue operating under its own established brand, expertise and client relationships.
The news comes as Scotland continues to reinforce its position as The Perfect Stage for world-class events and when organisers are increasingly seeking delivery partners capable of providing integrated creative, technical and operational expertise under one roof. It also comes at a time when international events continue to generate significant economic, cultural and tourism benefits for the country, while raising expectations around innovation, creativity and technical delivery.
Founded in 2000 by managing director Geoff Crow with just £250 and operating from his bedroom, the Group has grown into one of Scotland’s most comprehensive turnkey event delivery groups. Today, its specialist businesses provide creative, technical and operational support to some of the UK’s most recognised live events, including the Royal Highland Show, the Orkney 2025 International Island Games, the UCI Cycling World Championships, the launches of both the Tour de France 2027 and UEFA EURO 2028, and major festivals including Terminal V, Creamfields, Download and TRNSMT.
Over the past three years, 21CC Group has experienced sustained growth, with annual turnover increasing to £5 million and further strong growth forecast this financial year, reflecting continued investment in people, capability and strategic acquisitions. Further investment is planned over the coming years as the Group continues to expand its capabilities, strengthen the UK’s event supply chain and support increasingly ambitious events across the UK and beyond.
Geoff Crow, managing director of 21CC Group, said: “Our ambition remains simple: to make complex event delivery easier for our clients while continuing to build one of the UK’s most respected event delivery groups from Scotland. For twenty-five years we’ve believed in inventing and investing. That’s how we’ve built the Group to where it is today, and it’s how we’ll continue building for the future.”
Employing almost 40 event sector professionals across project management, creative production, business development, technical production and live event operations, businesses across 21CC Group work with many of the world’s best-known organisations and brands, alongside major festivals, international sporting championships, public celebrations and cultural programmes throughout the UK.
While each trading business continues to operate independently, the new parent company identity gives clients, partners and the wider industry a clearer understanding of the scale and shared expertise that exists across the Group.
Shane Grieve, director of Rogue City Productions, said: “Our clients don’t think in terms of individual disciplines. They simply want exceptional events delivered well. The strength of 21CC Group is that it brings together specialist expertise across every stage of the event delivery process, while allowing each business to continue doing what it does best.”
Over the past twenty-five years, 21CC Group has deliberately invested in people, technology and specialist capability, giving clients access to one of the UK’s broadest ranges of in-house creative, technical and operational event expertise.
Earlier this year, 21CC Group further strengthened its position through a strategic partnership with the Royal Highland Centre, one of the UK’s leading event venues, reinforcing its ambition to support Scotland’s growing programme of national and international events.
