After 10 years in Trafford Park, Alustage UK has moved to new premises in Manchester, allowing for greater stock holdings.

“We were bulging at the seams at the old warehouse, and customer demand meant we needed more stock available for instant shipping, and not waiting times that sometimes happened at peak demand” says Ian Webster, Accounts Manager at Alustage UK.

The new warehouse in Swinton allows for more stock holding of the most popular products, with customer parking and a loading area to make collections easier. With more products now on the shelf, Alustage UK can now be more responsive than ever to customer requirements.

“We are now able to hold larger numbers of our most popular stage and truss systems, as well as some other products that were previously ordered. This means we can now give a quicker turnaround on other custom products, as there is less pressure on the factory to keep sending stock for the shelf. Those products that used to be to order we can now look to hold in stock, making turnarounds instant.”

Alustage is part of the Athletic Group, supplying stage, truss, music stands and more across the world, with the main factory in Poland, and recently opened a factory in America.
