BAFTA partners with St James’s Church to offer organisers outdoor event space

BAFTABAFTA 195 Piccadilly, the West End home of BAFTA, has formed anew partnership with its immediate neighbour St. James’s Church, allowing the venue to make use of the church’s gardens, offering organisers access to an outdoor space for private events.

The new partnership has been agreed for 10 occasions per year, making the gardens available for hire between 6:30-9pm on weekdays and 9am-9pm on weekends.

The church, built in the 17th Century by Sir Christopher Wren, can host up to 150 people in its gardens, making it an ideal venue for launch parties, pre-dinner and wedding receptions and drinks parties.

“We’re thrilled to be working with St. James’s,” says Jenny Bones, head of commercial events at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly. “The gardens make a wonderful al fresco addition to our existing events space, and will further strengthen 195 as one of the West End’s premiere venues.”
