The organising team behind Barn on the Farm has confirmed that the festival will not return in 2025 as originally planned.

In January, the team announced that the festival would not take place in 2024. Instead, it would make a comeback in July 2025.

Now the Barn on the Farm team has confirmed that it will not go ahead next year. But it does intend to return.

The statement read: “t’s been 15 months since the end of the 2023 festival. We’ve spent a great deal of time staring at spreadsheets, dreaming of the next steps and looking into ways to ensure the long-term for Barn on the Farm. Ultimately, it’s become clear that we need a bit longer to find our way forward. We don’t just want to put on a festival that cuts costs to survive and coast along. We want to keep creating at the highest level, building culture and not compromising.

“For that reason, we need more time to figure out how we step forward in the current climate. I’m comfortable with saying that I have two incredible children and it’s not the smartest move as a parent, risking everything, knowing in my gut that financially it’s still very hard out there. So with that in mind, we’re sad to say that we will not be going ahead in 2025.

“Whilst this means no festival next year (which we are gutted about) we are determined and 100 per cent Barn will make a comeback.

“The past 14 years have provided some of the best moments of our lives, and we have been so fortunate to have met so many incredible people through it. For us, it’s the people that make it, and all we can say is thank you to each and every one of you that has helped to create the journey we have been on so far.”
