The Department of Health (DH) has appointed BEcause to help educate older consumers about the early symptoms of bowel cancer via a major national roadshow.

The “Be Clear on Cancer” campaign launches today (February 20) and will see BEcause deliver 150 live days of roadshow activity over several weeks at shopping centres and garden centres across multiple UK regions.  This will be supported by roving face-to-face activity at Mecca Bingo’s and pharmacies.

BEcause’s mobile “Be Clear on Cancer” stand will be staffed by trained brand ambassadors and a nurse who will be on hand to talk through bowel cancer symptoms.  There will also be a discrete consultation area connected to the stand where members of the public can ask further questions. Visitors will receive GP appointment cards to encourage them to visit their GP.
