British Airways is to open a pop-up venue – from April 4-17, guests and corporates can enjoy a table for two or four at Flight BA2012, which will be situated on Shoreditch High Street, E1, and themed on an airline. Tickets cost £50 per person and include access to the venue’s gallery and cinema and a three-course dinner with coffee in the dining lounge.

The three-in-one art gallery, cinema and dining lounge will showcase the works of the BA Great Britons who were mentored by Richard E Grant, Tracey Emin and Heston Blumenthal.

Great Britons Prasanna Purwanarajah, Pascal Anson and Simon Hulstone have created Olympic Games themed work, including a short-film, a “Dove” artwork livery for celebratory aircraft and a British menu. The airline-themed venue has been exclusively designed to recreate a premium flying experience, and will offer guests a sneak preview of the Great Britons works before they are rolled out on flights from April.

Flight BA2012 has a bar that is open from 6pm until 11pm each night for those who wish to explore the gallery and enjoy a drink.

Dining tickets for Flight BA2012 sold out in three hours but you can email and be added to the waiting list.
