Conference and Hospitality Show to grow in 2013

ConferenceandHospitalityShowPlans to expand the annual Conference and Hospitality Show have been unveiled by its organiser CHS Group – the event, which takes place on April 30 at Leeds United Football Club, has increased floor space and also its hosted buyer programme.

The show has expanded by 50 per cent year on year since its launch four years ago and is now attracting buyers and exhibitors from across the UK.

CHS director, Sue Beverley said: “We have found demand increasing from both exhibitors and visitors, which in the current climate is fantastic. As a result we have expanded the floor space in the venue and also our hosted buyer programme this year, as we have more agents than ever wanting to stay in the region and experience what it can offer.”

Some of the exhibitors appearing at the one-day event include Visit Scotland, The North East Hoteliers Association, Warwick Conferences, Pride of Britain, Marriott, Radisson Blu, Shire Hotels and Apex Hotels.

Highlights of the 2013 show include:

  • Three seminar stages – including a stage for PA’s featuring Helena Bonham Carter’s PA.
  • A Creative Quarter – themed around a Japanese garden, Chilled Events will create the sights and sounds of a traditional Japanese garden, complete with Geisha girls and sushi demonstrations.
  • An extensive hosted buyer programme ,which will include attending the show with a VIP one-hour preview, accommodation the night before and hospitality, complimentary transport, prize draws and access to a fully hosted VIP area.
