Creamfields unveils 20,000 capacity superstructure, Steel Yard
Dance music festival, Creamfields, has unveiled a brand new and “ambitious” concept for the 2016 event that will “redefine” festival production.
This year’s Creamfields will feature Steel Yard, a 20-metre high super structure with a capacity for 20,000 people.
Steel Yard has taken 12 months of planning, says the organiser, and will feature newly-developed automated technology that will “transform the space, immersing festivalgoers into a feast for the senses”.
Steel Yard is the first of a number of production announcements to be made ahead of the festival, which takes place in Daresbury, Cheshire, from August 25-28.
