The Events Industry Forum (EIF) has agreed to provide more than £83,000 in Purple Guide grants to four projects within the outdoor events industry.

Those receiving grants are:

Vision 2025 – to help fund the development of the Green Events Code.

Attitude is Everything – to provide training to help make smaller events more accessible to disabled audiences.

The Loop – to support its work in reducing the harm caused by drugs at outdoor events.

Leeds Beckett University – for research and the development of an Outdoor Events Industry Career Guide.

Funding for these grants is generated from sales of the Purple Guide, which the EIF manages on a non-for-profit basis.

The next round of grant applications will be considered in March.  A condition of the grants is that they must be of benefit to the wider outdoor events industry.  A grant application form can be found on the EIF website. The deadline for receiving applications is March 1, 2023.
