Event Buyers Live reveals new dates and location for 2016

Event Buyers Live is set to return in 2016, bringing VIP event organisers and suppliers together in a structured business and networking environment at the prestigious five-star Heythrop Park Resort, from February 24-25.

Building on the success of 2015’s event, which facilitated pre-arranged face-to-face meetings between organisers and suppliers, Event Buyers Live 2016 promises to be a “must attend” for live events professionals that are looking to procure event services and discover new solutions for upcoming projects.

Neil Fagg, event manager of Event Buyers Live, explained: “Our analysis and feedback from this year’s event was overwhelming and proves the events industry is still on the rise, with 82 per cent requesting to attend again in 2016. Given that our VIP’s were managing combined budgets of more than £590,000,000, it demonstrates the sheer scale of our sector and the incredible business opportunities at Event Buyers Live.”

He continued: “The event has a new location for 2016, the striking Heythrop Park Resort, Oxford, which allows us to expand the event whilst retaining intimacy, and deliver a professional environment where people can do business. We have been researching key events scheduled for 2016 and 2017 and gathering insight, which has resulted in the date of the event moving forward to February 24-25, encouraging more business contracts to be offered for the 2016 events season.”

Based on current levels of interest and the number of enquiries from those wishing to attend, the event team anticipates filling the event well in advance. Event organisers interested in attending should act fast if they wish to secure a place at the event, as only 100 organisers will be granted a position.

Zac Fox, head of operations at Kilimanjaro Live, sums up 2015’s event. Talking of her experience at Event Buyers Live, she said: “It was very useful to me. I think that sometimes it is easy to keep your head down and just get on with the day to day routine of producing events with the same group of people. Spending time in conversation with suppliers whom I don’t currently use gave me a whole new set of ideas.”

Event organisers wishing to express their interest in securing a position need to pre-register for Event Buyers Live via www.eventbuyerslive.com – the event is free to attend to qualifying individuals who meet the event’s strict criteria.
