Event Production Awards 2013 are now open for entry
The Event Production Awards are back and now open for entry. The winners of the 21 awards will be announced at a black tie dinner at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on Tuesday, February 5, 2013.
Categories include: Best Set Design/Finishing, Special Effects Company of the Year, AV Equipment Supplier of the Year, Best Event Furniture Supplier of the Year, Supplier of the Year, Production Company of the Year and Crewing Company of the Year.
This judges will be looking for specific examples of how events have been delivered successfully over the last 18 months – from May 2, 2011, until November 15, 2012.
The judging panel represents a strong cross-section of the events sector, with nine of the industry’s most high-profile professionals choosing the winners. These include Chris Salmon, event operations director, Goodwood; Clive Little, director of events and programming at the London Legacy Development Corporation; Colin Rodger, head of event management at DF Concerts; David Mayo, general manager at HPower; John Farquhar-Smith, owner of Flux Creative Consultancy; John Probyn, COO at Live Nation; Mark Ward, managing director at Proper Productions and Tim Owen, commissioner: events, filming and contingency planning at Westminster City Council.
The closing date for entries is November 20.
