Eventix becomes Weeztix, joining forces with Weezevent
As Weezevent celebrates its 10th anniversary in event ticketing, the company reflects on its journey with deep gratitude and enthusiasm. From the very beginning, its vision has been clear: to create tools that genuinely assist and empower event organisers. This guiding principle has driven a decade of innovation and growth, transforming Weezevent from a local startup into a leading independent and international ticketing platform.
Today, the company announces a significant milestone in its evolution: Eventix has joined forces with Weezevent. This marks the beginning of a new chapter, and as part of this transition, Eventix has become Weeztix—a name that connects both visions to the future.
This strategic collaboration unites two of the largest independent ticketing platforms, establishing a strong European presence. Weeztix will continue to focus on its flagship open API ticketing technology, while Weezevent will provide organisers with a broader suite of solutions, including accreditation, cashless services, access control, and more. By combining their strengths, both Weeztix and Weezevent aim to enhance their services and reinforce their position across Europe.
While now part of the same group, Weeztix will maintain separate product development and tailored market approaches. This ensures that both companies preserve their expertise and personalised service while addressing the unique needs of different organisers.
Joost, CEO of Eventix, stated, “We are proud to become Weeztix and to join the Weezevent group, as this creates new opportunities internationally and enhances our offering. Our existing customers will experience no changes—our team, product, and dedication remain the same.”
Pierre-Henri Deballon, CEO of Weezevent, added, “By bringing together Weezevent and Eventix, we are creating a powerful synergy that will enhance our offerings and provide greater value to event organisers across Europe. Together, we will continue to redefine the ticketing experience.”
Weezevent expresses its gratitude to all who have been part of this journey and looks forward to building the future together as Weeztix.
