Ex-UMG director of events Claire Haffenden joins Event Buyers Live for Fireside Chat
The ex-director of artist relations and events at Universal Music UK will take to the stage at Event Buyers Live (EBL) this November. Claire Haffenden, founder of Haffenden & Co, a new event management and artist services business, will join Caroline Clift, editor of StandOut, for EBL25’s Fireside Chat.
Haffenden, a seasoned events professional, is responsible for organising more than 20 BRIT Awards after parties as well as exclusive artist events and high-profile moments.
She will take part in a Q&A session and share her thoughts and learnings from more than 30 years in the events and music business.
After three decades at Universal Music UK, delivering extraordinary moments for world-renowned artists, Haffenden recently launched Haffenden & Co.
Clift said: “Claire is known for her exceptional black book of contacts, ability to bring calm to chaos, and gold-standard delivery for some of the world’s most high-profile recording artists. She is a dream to talk with and I am sure our guests will find Claire’s opinions fascinating.
“She is a big believer in team work and believes that an event’s success comes down to the team behind it. Claire quietly works in the shadows, not seeking recognition for the once-in-a-lifetime experiences that she creates and this is something that our guests will resonate with.
“I’m so pleased that Claire is joining EBL25 so if you want to hear what she has to say, apply now.”
Event Buyers Live will take place at Carden Park Hotel, Chester, on November 10-12.
Applications for EBL25 close on October 31. There are just 100 hosted buyer places available and almost half of those have now been allocated. If you’re in charge of budgets, you’re free from November 10-12, you like benchmarking different services and products, and you want to forge relationships with other #Eventprofs, EBL is for you.
