Global Intelligent Systems event launched by Farnborough and ADS
Farnborough International Limited (FIL) and ADS, the trade organisation for UK Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space, are to launch an event aimed at showcasing the technologies behind Autonomous and Intelligent Systems.
Global Intelligent Systems will take place at the FIVE venue from July 16-17, and is being organised as a joint venture.
GIS 2013 will be a two-day conference that will feature speakers including leading figures from industry, high-level academics and government officials, as well as offering opportunities for seminars and focus groups to discuss industry topics in greater detail.
An exhibition will run alongside the conference where products and technology will be displayed and live demonstrations will take place. A gala dinner will provide further networking opportunities on the first evening of the event and residential delegate packages will be available for attendees.
Amanda Stainer, exhibitions and events director for FIL, explained: “FIL is very excited to be increasing its global event portfolio with the launch of Global Intelligent Systems at Farnborough next year. GIS will break new ground with its scope encompassing technology spanning numerous sectors and we look forward to welcoming a host of international delegates and participants in July 2013. GIS will be an annual event and will take place as part of the Farnborough International Airshow in 2014.”
