More than 400 people were at the Troxy in East London earlier this month to see comedian Andrew Ryan present prizes in 29 categories at the Event Technology Awards 2017.

Among the big winners, mobile tech platform LiveStyled walked away with Best Venue Solution and Best New Technology Product while Bizzabo secured the gold standard in the People’s Choice Award for Best Technology Supplier, voted for by readers of Event Industry News. Shocklogic moved from bronze in 2016 to silver with One World Rental & HireTablets finishing third.

Adam Parry, co-founder of the Event Technology Awards, commented: “The invention in this market is remarkable. Our judges, who are all in the thick of it, really struggled to single out the winners in a number of categories; our sincere thanks to them, to the record breaking number of companies that submitted entries and to everyone who came along.

“It was a fantastic evening and a real pleasure to be back at the Troxy. The production, and the building itself, really brings an extra level to an event like this one.”
