The former CEO of MCM Central, Bryan Cooney, is set to debut the first Drone and Technology Show Live in 2018 – in a joint venture with the UK Drone Show and Activate Communications.

Cooney, who is now the CEO of Malo Events, has launched the event, which will celebrate all things related to an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and will showcase the latest products from across the drone, photography, consumer electronics and technology industries. Serving both B2B and B2C markets, the organiser has promised that the event will be “packed with content and interactive activities”.

This announcement brings together a partnership of Cooney, Oliver Obrien, founder of the UK Drone Show, and Luke Galliana, managing director of Activate Communications. The team has stated that its goal is to make the show the largest of its kind in Europe.

Show areas will include a Retail Zone, Imaging, UAV Training, eSports, Micro-Quad, Technology and Innovation Zones, Seminars and Breakthrough Technologies. The event will also showcase the FPV I-Series Drone Racing Tournaments, which will offer the U.K’s largest competition prize pool.

Dates and location will be announced soon.
