Leeds Castle has confirmed that the annual summer concert, in its current format, will conclude in 2026, following the decision by the event operator to retire from running live events at the end of the current contractual agreement. The final concert will take place on July 11, 2026, which will celebrate its successful legacy, bringing decades of classical concerts to life.

For more than 40 years, dating back to 1978, the concert operated by Heritage Events, has created lasting memories on the lawns of Leeds Castle. Generations of music enthusiasts have gathered to enjoy live orchestral performances from the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, experiencing unforgettable highlights such as Spitfire flypasts and dazzling fireworks, in one of England’s most enchanting historical venues.

The 2026 event will serve as a final tribute to both the event and the loyal supporters who have attended over the years. Audiences can look forward to a thoughtfully curated programme, featuring a full live orchestra and many beloved musical moments. As always, the evening will culminate with a spectacular fireworks display reflected across the castle’s moat, creating an unforgettable final celebration.
