IOEX launches Innovation Incubator
The International Outdoor Event Expo (IOEX) has launched an Innovation Incubator area at the show that will allow event organisers to watch a series of quick fire pitches from a range of product and service suppliers to the events industry.
IOEX, which takes place at ExCeL London from March 6-8 will give event suppliers a showcase platform, with the challenge to pitch their products and services in a rapid 15-minute window. The concepts must be unpatented or within six months of their launch date.
Mark Gordon, sales director, IOEX explained: “This provides an excellent opportunity to launch new products and services in front of a very receptive audience in the live events sector. This will be great for companies looking to get feedback for ideas and concepts, spreading the word about the availability of revolutionary products and getting valuable business leads.
“From the research that we did with focus groups, innovations were something that everyone was keen to hear about so we have developed this show feature to present them all in one place, making it time effective for organisers. We will be putting together a programme of entries to run across the three days so visitors can attend multiple sessions and see the latest innovations.”
Suppliers to the events industry have until February 1 to apply: http://www.ioex.co.uk/incubatorentries
