LimeLight Sports Club, organiser of Asics London 10k, Hackney Moves, Oxford Half Marathon, and Blenheim Palace Triathlon, has been acquired by Y11, a sport and media investment house.

Reports on Companies House show that James Davies-Randle, founder of Y11, and Y11’s chief finance officer Nicolas Angio have been named as directors of LimeLight Sports Club.

Y11 Media and Sport’s portfolio includes Ospreys Rugby Club, Motiv Running, organiser of Long Beach Marathon and New Jersey State Triathlon, and Challenge Family, organiser of more than 30 long and middle-distance triathlons around the globe including Challenge London and Challenge Wales.

After more than 30 years of trading, LimeLight Sports has entered into administration. However, this does not include LimeLight Sports Club, organiser of Etape Caledonia, London Tri, and London Duathlon.
