ThemesIncorporatedGlastonbury Festival’s Michael Eavis is to help Themes Incorporated celebrate its 30th anniversary this month when he takes to the floor at 4pm on March 19 for an open question and answer session.

The session, which is free to attend, will take place at Batmink and Themes Incorporated’s Glastonbury premises – Eavis’ Q&A is just one of a series of workshops to be held from March 18-23. The free professional workshops and training are designed to provide useful “hands on” experience and core skills and will be presented by some of the industry’s foremost companies.

During the week, representatives from manufacturers such as Pioneer, Martin Audio, Cloud, Le Maitre, Shure, Audio Technica and Sennheiser will be conducting presentations on subjects including pyrotechnics, production and event sound and lighting, signal processing, the latest wireless regulations and providing certified training on Zero 88 lighting desks. The Themes Incorporated team will be supplementing this with daily workshops covering subjects such as theming your event, how to get the most from your budget, transforming a venue using draping and dressing and event lighting.

Theme’s sister company, Batmink Distribution will also be on hand to provide information regarding an introduction to DMX, the future of digital DJing, effective speaker management and the latest outdoor LED technology.
