An exciting raft of experienced event professionals has joined the speaker lineup at Event Buyers Live.

Jackie Slade, the former overlay manager at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games (Smithfield venue), Ben Atkins, co-founder of Lost Village festival, and Janthea Brigden, CEO of Nipperbout, are the latest #eventprofs to give their time and expertise to the industry event.

Slade, who is highly skilled in site operations and production, site design, overlay and site management, and who was site designer/manager at Glastonbury Festival for 15 years, will facilitate Event Buyers Live’s roundtable on site design, overlay, and site management.

Brigden has more than 30 years of providing temporary childcare at major UK and European events and venues. She will chair a roundtable discussion on safeguarding, creating anxiety-free environments and children and families, and safeguarding policies for family-friendly events.

And Atkins will join Event Buyers Live’s staff welfare and mental health workshop to share best practices, including the measures that Lost Village festival has taken to improve staff and crew welfare on-site.

Event Buyers Live takes place at Carden Park, Chester, from November 28-30.

Registration for the industry event closes on October 31. If you would like to attend the event, network with #eventprofs, source suppliers for 2023, and take part in intimate knowledge sharing sessions, register now.
