Bad weather has forced the organisers of the inaugural MFest to cancel the event. Superchannel Live, health and safety, Leeds City Council and Harewood House made the joint decision to cancel Morrisons first ever food and music festival. Poor weather leading up to the event and an extreme weather warning from the Met Office for this coming weekend forced the organisers to make a decision.

MFest was due to take place at Harewood House from July 7-8 and was set to feature performances from Texas, The Human League and Scouting for Girls, as well as food demonstrations from chefs Nigel Haworth and Aldo Zilli.
