National Eisteddfod awards Dimension 8 a three-year contract

Dimension 8 has been selected as official contractor for The National Eisteddfod of Wales – the Newport-based, full service supplier to the exhibition and event industry has won a three-year contract to supply the event, which this year will be held at Kilford Farm near Denbigh, from August 2-10, 2013.

Dimension 8 will deliver and construct almost one kilometre of Octanorm and clad timber walling and door sections for the exhibition areas and in the numerous DeBoer structures scattered around the festival. Dimension 8 will be on site for six weeks.

Alan Gwynant, technical director of the National Eisteddfod of Wales, explained the decision to award Dimension 8 the three-year contract: “We have worked closely with the team at Dimension 8 over many years, and this contract is a measure of our rock-solid confidence in their ability, capacity and bandwidth to handle an event of this magnitude and all of the contingencies that inevitably arise.”
