Franco de la Croix-Vaubois, formerly of Londonlaunch, has created his own event management company, Frog Events. To celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the company was instrumental in organising a hot air balloon glow on the top of Solsbury Hill, which was visible across Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, and attracted much media attention.
De La Croix-Vaubois says that the event, which he used to launch Frog Events, attracted 1,700 people as well as interest from Sky News, BBC 5Live and BBC Bristol.
The balloon glow was an alternative “jubilee beacon” with the balloons pulsating to Peter Gabriel’s song Solsbury Hill also.
