Louder Entertainment and Joy Concerts have announced the expansion of On The Beach.

After six years bringing live music to Brighton’s seafront, the festival will launch a second site on the sandy beaches of Great Yarmouth from June 17-20, 2027.

Olly Murs is the first headliner to be announced and will take to the stage on June 18 with further acts to be revealed.

Launched in Brighton in 2021, On The Beach has hosted sold-out shows from artists including Fatboy Slim, Moby, Madness, Eric Prydz, Underworld and Carl Cox, alongside Royal Blood, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, and The Kooks.

Great Yarmouth marks its first expansion beyond Brighton.

An On The Beach spokesperson said: “After six incredible years in Brighton, we’re excited to spread our wings and bring the On The Beach experience to Great Yarmouth. Its sandy beach and famous Golden Mile make it a fantastic setting for a new seafront festival. We’re thrilled to announce Olly Murs as our first headliner and can’t wait to share the rest of the line-up. We’re also proud to have Music Support alongside us as our charity partner.”
