Pete Waterman announces Hyde Park gig
Pete Waterman has announced plans for a Hyde Park concert this summer featuring Jason Donovan, Rick Astley, Pepsi and Shirley and Bananarama, Hit Factory Live will take place on July 11 and will mark the 25th anniversary of Waterman’s record label PWL.
Stars from Waterman’s stable of artists are set to play to thousands of fans. Steps, Dead Or Alive and Brother Beyond will also entertain the Hyde Park audience.
Pete Waterman said: “I’ve been saying no for years to a Hit Factory concert but now, 25 years on, the timing feels right.
“It’s time to celebrate the hit single and we have a tremendous line-up of our classic artists confirmed to play Hit Factory Live in Hyde Park on July 11. More surprises will be announced over the coming months – it’s set to be the biggest and best ever celebration of SAW and PWL.”
Corporates will be able to purchase hospitality.
A proportion of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
