BrightonMarathonGrounded Events Company, organiser of the Brighton Marathon, has announced a three-year deal with Piccadilly Live, which has won a contract to supply AV infrastructure for the 2013, 2014 and 2015 events.

The AV company will be responsible for the event’s Beach Village, a new addition for this year’s race. The Beach Village will feature two large LED screens, which will display all the drama of the finish complete with music and live commentary as the action unfolds.

The area will also act as a meeting point for those who have completed their marathon to meet friends and family or just for spectators to come and enjoy the action.

The Beach Village will be positioned right by the Finish Line on Brighton’s beach and will be open from 10.30am to 4pm on Sunday, April 14.

Ben Collings, UK sales manager, Piccadilly Live, said that the company is delighted to support Grounded Events over the next three years and welcomes the new partnership.
