Pitmans People celebrates a decade in business

Pitman’s People celebrated a decade of success working across the events industry with a night to remember for 200 VIP guests.

Set in the industrial surroundings of The Oval Space in London’s Shoreditch, guests were treated to an evening of entertainment including a set from house diva legend, Kym Mazelle, music from the Hightown Crows; DJ; three burlesque shows; unlimited Pitman’s Punch; plus a three-course dinner and boiler room desserts.

The entire event was manned by Pitman’s staff right from the security and front of house staff to the waiters and bar tenders. All guests were treated to party bags provided by all bagged up.

Managing director Oliver Pitman gave a warm welcome speech to all the party guests who included clients, media, suppliers and colleagues: “At Pitman’s People, we have come a long way in the last decade and I believe we have carved ourselves a distinct position in the events industry. We have had the privilege of working alongside global players in the marquee and event structure sector with the likes of Arena Structures, De Boer, GL events Owen Brown, Roeder, Losberger and Mar-key Group to name but a few.

“In the 10 years we’ve been in business, we have built over one million square metres of structures, and been thrilled to work on London 2012 — it was the biggest and best sporting event ever! I feel an Olympian sized pride in what we have achieved – and tremendous excitement about the next ten years. Next year is set to be just as big as we continue to work on some of the country’s top events.”
