The RAF Cosford Air Show will return in 2027 with a new name. 

As the Royal Air Force’s last remaining air show, Cosford continues to play a vital role in engaging the public, inspiring future talent, and showcasing defence capability. From 2027, the show will be known as Royal Air Force Air Show.

In a statement, the organising team said: “Since its inception, the RAF Cosford Air Show has proudly reflected the commitment, professionalism, and passion of the Royal Air Force. As we look ahead to 2027, renaming the event the Royal Air Force Air Show represents an important milestone, one that recognises how far we have come as a service and the national significance of what we deliver each year.

“While the name will evolve, the foundations remain the same: the same dedicated people, the same location at Cosford, and the same passion for inspiring and engaging the public. This change presents an exciting opportunity to broaden our reach, strengthen our connection with audiences, and open new avenues for the future of the event.”
