AGN Events, organiser of Rock N Roll Circus, has confirmed that the event is heading to London next year. The award-winning live music and entertainment festival set to make its capital debut at Gunnersbury Park from July 22-25, 2027.

The independently run festival will expand to three UK locations, with the new London event joining established Rock N Roll Circus festivals in Sheffield and Norwich.

Since launching in 2022, Rock N Roll Circus has welcomed tens of thousands of music fans and an impressive roll call of major British and international artists, including Queens of the Stone Age, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Streets, Richard Ashcroft and Self Esteem.

Rock N Roll Circus brings together major live music with circus performance, emerging talent and entertainment inside and around its spectacular Big Top, creating an accessible festival experience designed to offer much more than a traditional outdoor concert.

Rather than operating as one continuous weekend ticket, the events runs as a series of individual show days, each with its own programme and headline artists. Festivalgoers can choose the day – or days –  they want to attend, making the experience flexible for families, groups of friends and music fans of all generations.

Its arrival at Gunnersbury Park will mark the next chapter for the event, while it continues to build on its established festivals in Sheffield (Don Valley Bowl) and Norwich (Earlham Park).

Ali O’Reilly, festival director of Rock N Roll Circus, said: “Bringing Rock N Roll Circus to London is a huge moment for us. Since we first launched the event, we’ve always had ambitions to grow the Circus, but it has been really important that we do that in the right way and in places that feel like a natural home for what we do.

“Gunnersbury Park is a brilliant setting and gives us the opportunity to create something really special for London. We’re incredibly proud of what Rock N Roll Circus has become in Sheffield and Norwich, and London isn’t replacing either of those events – it is an exciting addition which means that in 2027 the Circus will have three homes.

“One of the things we love about Rock N Roll Circus is the mix of people who come through the gates. It appeals across generations, whether you’re a regular festivalgoer, coming with a group of friends or bringing the family along for a first taste of a festival-style experience. The individual show days also mean people can simply choose the artists and day that work for them.

“We want Rock N Roll Circus to be about much more than the artists on stage. Working with the National Centre for Circus Arts is a great example of that. Just as we want to give emerging musicians opportunities, we want to support the next generation of circus talent and give people the chance to experience that side of the Circus for themselves.

“We can’t wait to open the gates next July and welcome London to the Circus for the very first time.”

David Bowler, CEO of Gunnersbury Museum and Park, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Rock N Roll Circus to Gunnersbury Park for the first time in 2027.

“Gunnersbury has a proud history of bringing people together, and we look forward to working closely with the Rock N Roll Circus team as they bring their established mix of live music, performance and entertainment to West London.”
