SundayPapersLiveThe creative minds behind Secret Garden Party and Wilderness have launched a brand new event – Sunday Papers Live is designed to appeal to those who love the ritual that is lazing on a Sunday morning with coffee and the broadsheets.

On May 26, at Cecil Sharp House, columnists, writers, comedians and musicians will come together in a carefully programmed day that will echo everyone’s ideal Sunday.

Sunday-lovers should expect roast dinner, tea, cake, walks, good company, and “performance” from a number of columnists who will debate everything from gardening to travel and cookery to style.

Tickets for Sunday Papers Live are priced £20, and people are being asked to use the local area enabling Cecil Sharp House to be utilised as a central hub.

The organisers plan to create a giant living room, and each section of the Sunday papers will be presented in the main hall with a speaker taking between 15 and 25 minutes to present the day’s topics.

The day will begin at 11am and end at 11pm, and guests should expect four rooms that focus on food, relaxation, performance and exploration.

The Little Baroque Company, Jamie Catto and Katharine Hamnett are all lined up to appear.
