Royal Highland Centre brings in experience from Down Under
The Royal Highland Centre (RHC) has appointed Erin Adam as event planner. Adam’s joins the venue following a seven-year stint in Australia working for BBC Entertainment.
Adam is no stranger to large-scale events and has worked on a wide variety of events from camel racing in Broome to huge concerts with Stevie Wonder and Michael Buble.
Adam’s role with the RHC will involve communicating between the client, the event sales team and the operations delivery team, ensuring each plays their part in delivering events that surpass client expectations.
Commenting on her appointment, Adam said: “During my career I have gained a great deal of ‘on the job’ knowledge in relation to delivering successful events. I love the variety and the pace of working in events. So much time, focus and energy go into the organising, planning and delivery of each event, there’s never a dull moment. Attention to detail and the ability to process detailed information quickly and accurately are paramount and my daily mantra is ‘whatever it takes’. I’m excited to work at RHC as it’s such a fantastic venue with so much scope for both internal and external events.”
Archie Glendinning, director of the Royal Highland Centre added: “Besides her enthusiasm and positive thinking, I think the biggest attribute Erin brings is her experience and subsequent skillset in relation to working on large-scale indoor and outdoor events. For clients, getting the planning, scheduling and timings right is crucial and Erin is here to support and guide our clients to ensure theirs is an event to remember. We host such a wide variety of events at the RHC, both indoor and outdoor, it’s great to welcome another person to the team with experience that matches this.”
