Sustainable Events Summit announce brand and speaker involvement
The recently launched Sustainable Events Summit has confirmed the first brands supporting its live summit taking place on January 24, 2013, at The Crystal in east London.
Cisco, Sport Accord and Siemens, plus Capita, BSI Meetings and Events and Venues Event Management have pledged their support.
David Stubbs, head of sustainability at London 2012, also joins the growing list of leaders from across the events and sustainability industries that will be speaking at the first live summit.
Stubbs, former head of London 2012 and now member of the IOC Evaluation Commission, comments: “I have had unique insight into the growing importance of sustainability in the event industry and look forward to sharing my experience of supporting projects, which will influence the international implementation of sustainability in the event industry”
The BVEP has also been confirmed as a summit sponsor whilst ICCA and Britain for Events have joined as summit supporters.

Tickets for the first live summit on January 24 are priced at £345 plus VAT if booked before December 17 (post December 17, £445 plus VAT). However, if you are a member of London & Partners, BVEP, ICCA, Eventia, IVCA, ISES, MPI, AEO, ESSA and AEV, you can benefit from a discount – £275 plus VAT.
