Taylex Group, the West Midlands events supplier, has been appointed as an official supplier to the NEC. The company has signed an agreement with the NEC Group, which will see it expand its range of production services to support agencies, organisers, exhibiting brands, and contractors.

Operating under the Taylex Group offering, an on-site Expo Supplies service is strategically located opposite Door 3.4 in Hall 3. Expo Supplies is the only official on-site rental supplier of beMatrix – a sustainable, modular, multi-tier exhibition structure system – allowing clients to order, collect, build, and return all in one place to avoid storage and transportation costs. From tools, PPE equipment and cables to Xtreme solutions, timber, and Foamex printing turnaround, Expo Supplies will be on hand to support with any last-minute requirements.

Servicing increased client demand for additional exhibition and event production solutions, Taylex Group offers an expanded team based at the NEC, complementing its extensive 30,000 square metre headquarters and production facility based in Halesowen.

“We are delighted to welcome Taylex Group as an official supplier to the NEC,” said Andrew Cole, NEC Group’s director of property, partnerships and media. “The home-grown business has built a strong and trusted reputation, not only in the Midlands events market, but in the UK and across the EU – we’re proud to have seen them deliver many successful projects at the NEC in recent years. The company’s strategic positioning at the NEC will allow it to continue to provide excellent concept-to-creation services and help more brands make a successful impact at the venue. We look forward to further collaboration, together providing the highest level of service to our customers.”

Karl Clark, managing director of Taylex Group, said: “We have had a great relationship with the NEC over the years and are thrilled to cement our partnership further with this official supplier agreement. The region has attracted international attention through momentous successes such as Coventry UK City of Culture 2021, BBC investment and the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games which Taylex Group was proud to supply a multi-disciplinary event support team.

“As a proud local business, we’re committed to playing our part in the development of such a respected cultural legacy; providing sought-after technical and creative expertise from within our talented pool of staff. As a whole team, we look forward to helping more event organisers, agencies, brand clients and contractors make a successful impact at the breadth of shows held at the NEC.”

Taylex Group has a long history of working with several brands and delivering successful events and stand builds at the NEC – most recently, delivering three simultaneous projects for Kawasaki, Royal Enfield and BSA Motorcycles exhibiting at Motorcycle Live in November.

As a local, family business with a 15-year history, Taylex Group excels in design and project management resulting in the creation of event environments for Visa, Kawasaki, Betby, Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Frieze London, and BST Hyde Park.

During this period, Taylex Group has expanded its talented team and evolved its services, which has enabled it to go from strength-to-strength during a challenging post-COVID environment.
