We Are OPS becomes new event health and safety provider for global marketing agency TRO

We Are OPS has announced a new partnership with experiential marketing agency, TRO.

The event operations agency, powered by more than 20 years of event industry experience, will provide health and safety support and expertise at a range of TRO activations across the UK, produced for some of the world’s leading brands.

Events so far include activations for BMW, Under Armour, Pepsi and Just Eat – taking place at locations ranging from Trafalgar Square to the O2. These activations have enabled thousands of guests to celebrate everything from car unveilings to the Champions League and Europa League finals.

The partnership leverages the strengths of both organisations to deliver experiences that prioritise safety and creativity – enhancing all aspects of event planning and execution.

In the build-up to the event, the OPS team audit all suppliers involved and produce required documentation including risk assessments, fire risk assessments and event safety management plans.

Health and safety training is another bespoke service that the OPS team has delivered for TRO in recent months to help strengthen the agency’s existing expertise. This provides agencies with an overview of event health and safety, their responsibilities in the workplace, and a tabletop exercise – exploring on-site scenarios specific to the client’s events and offering insight about how these can be managed. We Are OPS and TRO will continue to collaborate on new solutions dedicated to event safety, such as virtual safety training for event staff, and interactive safety displays to educate and engage attendees.
