Wellpleased expands into conference and exhibition production
Wellpleased Events has expanded its team, stock and warehousing facilities to offer exhibition stand and conference set production services to the industry.
It has employed Paul Rutherford as production director to head up the exhibitions and conferences team. Rutherford, formerly of Event Prop Hire and Paragon Creative, has been a set designer in the event industry for over 15 years.
Wellpleased now offer three exhibition and conference set options; purpose-built, modular and pop-up systems on a sale or hire basis.
Sam Welply, director, Wellpleased Events said: “Few people know that the exhibition industry enjoyed growth of 2.7 per cent in 2011, and the number of exhibitors increased by 2.3 per cent. Attendees and revenues grew by more than that too, so as a sector, it’s a healthy place to be.
“Where we differ from other exhibition or conference companies is that we can manage the entire exhibition or conference from start to finish, offering creative design build and installation, of course, but also staffing & management, PR and marketing.”
