Great British Food Festival reveals five new venues for 2019
The Great British Food Festival has announced 13 events for this summer, with five taking place at new venues.
The five new venues that have been announced this year are: Chillington Hall, West Midlands (May 11-12), Grimsthorpe Castle, Lincolnshire (June 15-16), Margam Park in South Wales (June 22-23), Englefield House in Berkshire (June 29-30) and Westonbirt, Gloucestershire (August 10-11).
Daniel Maycock, director of Great British Food Festival, commented: “We are really happy to add these five fantastic venues to our summer events – they are all stunning and will make fantastic settings for our food and drink festivals.
“We are always keen to keep pushing the events on, with that in mind we have added a new BBQ Stage for some interactive demos, more vegan and vegetarian elements, some great new chef demos and of course some top bands. We hope to offer a fun foodie day out for the whole family.”
More than 100 different food producers will be in attendance at each venue, along with man V food and cake competitions, live music and entertainment.
